I don't normally post recipes, but I'm a bit bored searching deals tonight so I thought it would be fun to mix it up a bit! Although as frugal and thrifty I am (some would say I'm "cheap") my big ticket items for my family are food, we eat mostly organic when possible (or as natural as I can get my kids to agree to). It's expensive!
Anyway, on to the quick easy recipe! I was hungry for a crunchy, filling snack tonight (times like this I wish I would have left those cheetos my kid threw into the cart when I wasn't looking, in the cart!). We do however have can of garbanzo beans handy, even better!
-Drain a can of garbanzo beans, pat dry
-coat with olive oil
- use whatever seasoning you'd like- I used madras curry (kind of sweet, kind of spicy). You can use anything really, garlic salt, cinnamon, etc.!
-put on a baking sheet and bake at 450 for 30-45 min. until they are crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside!
Cheap, easy, healthy and yummy!
I found this recipe on Fitness in the 608 which by the way is an awesome blog for those looking for great exercise tips as well as all around healthy tips! Please check it out if you get a chance!
