Essentials by Premama is a prenatal multivitamin drink mix fortified with 12 prescription grade vitamins and minerals to soothe symptoms of morning sickness and minimize iron-induced constipation. Premama is perfect for those of us who dread the giant "horse pills" prenatals usually are. Premama is also great for mamas like me you who sometimes forget to take their vitamins at a certain time each day, keep a few packets in your bag and pop it in a beverage when out and about. PREMAMA Essentials is vegetarian, non-GMO, and free or common allergens (gluten, eggs, fish, nuts, shellfish, sulfates, and tree nuts). Add one packet of Premama and swirl into min. 12 ounces of your favorite cold beverage or soft food and enjoy!
I tried this product several ways- mixed with juice (I did notice a bit of an aftertaste with orange juice, no after taste when I used cranberry juice), in a smoothie (see recipe below), and my personal favorite was with greek yogurt and a bit of honey (the vitamins were not detectable to me)!
Quatrefolic folate, shown in studies to be 10x more absorbable than folic acid, while helping reduce the risk of neural tube defects.
Vitamin B6to soothe symptoms of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, known as morning sickness.
Ferrochel gentle iron to help minimize iron related constipation.
Vitamin B12 to help control fatigue.
